Sourcing & Processing
Directly sourced. Carefully processed.
At JEMEA Coffee Trading, our journey begins with Ethiopian coffee farmers. We source coffee directly from farmers and carefully process it at our four processing sites, combining close sourcing relationships with professional handling and preparation.
Our approach focuses on preserving the distinctive characteristics of Ethiopian coffee while preparing our products to meet the requirements of international buyers.

01 · Sourcing
Direct sourcing from farmers
We work directly with farmers to source Ethiopian coffee, building relationships close to where the coffee originates. This approach helps us understand the coffee we procure and maintain a hands-on role in our sourcing and processing operations.

02 · Processing
Two processing methods
Washed Processing
Washed coffee is processed using a method that removes the fruit surrounding the coffee beans before drying. The method and handling used during processing influence the resulting coffee’s characteristics.
Natural Processing
Natural processing involves drying coffee cherries with the fruit still surrounding the beans. Careful handling and drying are important parts of this method and contribute to the coffee’s distinctive characteristics.

03 · Operations
Four processing sites
JEMEA operates across four coffee processing sites, where coffee is handled and processed with care and professionalism. Our operations support our focus on sourcing Ethiopian coffee and preparing it for wholesale and international trade.
04 · Trade

We welcome enquiries from coffee importers, roasters, wholesalers and other commercial buyers seeking Ethiopian coffee. Whether you are interested in wholesale quantities or samples, our team can discuss your preferred origins, processing methods and product specifications.
